Sodium Chloride Intravenous Infusion BP 0.9% w/v is a sterile, isotonic solution that serves as an essential source of water and electrolytes. It is indicated for the replenishment of fluid loss and for the restoration and maintenance of normal sodium and chloride ion concentrations in the body. Additionally, it supports the treatment of certain poisonings by promoting renal excretion of toxins.
